About Us
NAIFA Pineywoods of East Texas Chapter or POET for short is an affiliate of NAIFA Texas. NAIFA, standing for National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors was founded in 1890 to support and develop individuals in the insurance and financial services industry. Today NAIFA serves to educate and advocate for its members working to protect the industry and offer direction to advance individual careers.

Our local chapter, NAIFA POET meets several times per year at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler. Meetings offer industry specific speakers, networking and an opportunity to become informed on both legislative and regulatory issues impacting today's insurance and financial professional.

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is pleased to announce that NAIFA’s Pineywoods of East Texas chapter has achieved the association’s Silver Chapter Excellence Award. NAIFA POET is one of 14 local chapters to be recognized with a Chapter Excellence Award.
